Surf is the face height at the beach after the swell is filtered for the way Rhosilli Bay faces. Arrows show where the swell and wind are heading. Tide is the height at Burry Port above chart datum, rising ↑ or falling ↓; the rating drops when the tide is outside the window this break works on. Amber marks the sessions worth setting an alarm for. From Thursday the swell comes from Météo-France's 10-day model, which is coarser than the 5 km German model used close in. Hours no model reaches are left blank, not shown as flat.

Exposure

Rhosilli Bay faces south-west. Swell inside the lit window reaches the beach; anything from behind the headlands scores nothing, however big the buoy says it is.

Comments

19 Aug 2013 · Waverhyder Great waves, Ideal for beginners. Can catch some very long breaks on some days, though the stairs to the bay coming from the carpark are horrendous and can be a bugger to take a board down.
27 Aug 2005 · Iain with 2 i's I went there recently and there can be some very good days. It'd be good to take a beginner to. Works best at high tide.
19 Dec 2004 · Paul Awesome place to surf! Awesome locals, Pete Jones especially!
19 Dec 2004 · Grinders Definately worth the visit
