Exposure

Gwenvor faces north-west. Measured from the seabed, it is open to swell from SW round to N; the brighter a wedge, the deeper the water in that direction and the more of the swell gets in. Anything from behind the headlands scores nothing, however big the buoy says it is.

Either walk down from sennen cove Above Lands End or Turn Down Escalls Lane and walk down cliff paths.

If there's no swell here then then's no swell hitting Cornwall. Bit of a mare to get to and get suffer from Bad Rips.

24 Aug 2005 · the zoid i love a bit of gwenvor action, the best thing about the place is the colour of the water, it's definately one of the most pristine breaks in kernow.
