Surf is the face height at the beach after the swell is filtered for the way Rinsey faces. Arrows point to where the swell and wind come from: an arrow pointing up means from the north. Tide is the height at Porthleven above chart datum, rising ↑ or falling ↓; the rating drops when the tide is outside the window this break works on. Amber marks the sessions worth setting an alarm for. From Wednesday the swell comes from Météo-France's 10-day model, which is coarser than the 5 km German model used close in. Hours no model reaches are left blank, not shown as flat.

Exposure

Rinsey faces south-west. Measured from the seabed, it is open to swell from SE round to W; the brighter a wedge, the deeper the water in that direction and the more of the swell gets in. Anything from behind the headlands scores nothing, however big the buoy says it is.

comin from penzance towards helston go past praa sands until u get 2 ashton the b4 u get 2 da pub turn right where u see a sign sayin "rinsey" then folllow along go straight over at the junction 2 levey the follow all the way down 2 rinsey village the follow signs 2 car park go down path 2 left of car park u cant miss it its the tiny little cove in front of the mine house. p.s. dont take n e notice of the locals surfins about sharing the experience!

tiny little baby cove around the hedland from praa sands which pics up the same swell as praa and levey but it alot more hollow than praa about the same as levey but no where near as crowded
