Surf is the face height at the beach after the swell is filtered for the way St Agnes faces. Arrows show where the swell and wind are heading. Tide is the height at Perranporth above chart datum, rising ↑ or falling ↓; the rating drops when the tide is outside the window this break works on. Amber marks the sessions worth setting an alarm for. From Wednesday the swell comes from Météo-France's 10-day model, which is coarser than the 5 km German model used close in. Hours no model reaches are left blank, not shown as flat.

Exposure

St Agnes faces north-east. Swell inside the lit window reaches the beach; anything from behind the headlands scores nothing, however big the buoy says it is.

Getting there
about 15-20 miles south of newquay.

Lovely right hand beach/reef break. Breaks on the northly end of the bay over rock reef, and runs into the beach. one of the best waves in the area, but a heavy favorite with the locals because of the protection it gets.. You'll see some of the best surfer the uk has here regually, but usually that's all you get to do... watch!
